I could be wearing pajamas

Hi guys! I think you might be curious about my title, so I will explain it right now: I am a fourth year student at university, I study translation (yes, it is a thing) and since I finished my school year in April, I have been teleworking for an internship. So, I have been translating a website and childrenbooks at home for the last months. And when I tell people about what I am doing, the first thing they say is usually: "Oh, so you can work in pajamas!" Yes, I could, but I don't.
Well, of course, I did at the beginning, it really clashed with the hectic school year I had, and I have to admit that it was funny and satisfying to work and talk to my boss while being in pajamas. But day after day, it started to get depressing actually. Because spending all of your days home alone in PJs isn't that funny after all, because days are all the same and I sometimes feel like I am completely out of this world. Besides, I found out that I didn't enjoy my PJs as much when I was wearing them all the time. So I decided to keep my good old PJs Sunday and to dress up every weekday, even if it is just for myself (although I still take advantage of my stituation to take things slowly in the morning, this is the best part about it hehehe).
So, this is an example of everyday outfit that I have been wearing during my teleworking phase. It is very comfortable to stay home, and still presentable enough to go out and run some errands or walk around in the city (which I do often).

I could'nt have chosen something better than a good old pair of high-waisted denim shorts to look cute and be comfortable at the same time. What I especially like about them is the zipper on the front, which make them not-so-simple. As for my top, it is just so me, because it is cropped and has a nice little ruffle at the bottom, it is one of these cute lolita-like details that I just have to add to any of my outfits. I decided to simply add a red hairband in my hair because there is something so satisfying about stripes and red, and I think it compliments my hair colour quite well. I didn't bother wearing too much jewellery, only the few that I never take off ayway, and my new kitty watch, because a smiling kitty will always make me happy!

As for my makeup, I kept it simple with a nude eye makeup look and a tinted lip balm that I also used as a blush.

Top: H&M
Shorts: Newlook
Shoes: Yesstyle
Hairband: eBay
Watch: Dresslink
Tinted lip balm: Kiko Kiss Balm in Strawberry

Andrea

    1. I actually like it, during the school year I love doing homeworks in pajamas during the weekend, and even now, I like starting in pajamas in the morning but - just not being in pajamas every day all day for four months in a row :p
